Metal Shredder Monitoring
Working with hot materials is inherently risky. Scrap metal shredders fall into this high risk category, as friction causes heating of the metal. Hot metal can damage equipment or injure workers if not properly monitored and controlled.
IMC has developed a thermal imaging solution for monitoring metal shredders. Temperatures can be measured and alerts raised if hazardous thermal conditions are reached, improving safety and potentially machinery lifespan.
